The
Queen's Pricking Tradition
Sounds a bit naughty, but Queen Pricking Tradition is royal tradition
to choose a new
High Sheriff by
selecting their names with
the naked dagger, or needles. Some say
this habit of going
back to the first Queen Elizabeth, who supposedly
could not find a pen to write with (ballpoints were several hundred years off) and not stabbed with a
dagger in the selection area.
Another report adds that the title was often unpopular

Wales, England and Northern Ireland.
It was a lot of poking!

Abigail is only 5 years old at the wedding 6 where it is worn. By the time he
was ready to get married, it has been used by four other brides and in terrible
condition. With the help of a dry cleaner and more than 200 hours of
restoration, Abigail walked down the aisle on October 17, 2015.
